My very dear Olga Ibragimova asked a question:
“Oksana Yurievna, I’m happy to read your publications, it’s Interesting to know your point of view about the latest events. What’s happening? Economics, politics, coronavirus… And what will happen next, what is your forecast?»
I won’t write about coronavirus, because I’m not a doctor and do not understand anything. I don’t even know if it exists or not. But just in case I take all the prevention advices)
They show us scary images, publish statistics and so on. What is it? We have no idea for sure.
For some reason, I keep thinking of the movie “Wag The Dog”.
But I understand that a serious global economic crisis has begun. Probably much more serious than in 2008.
But in 2008 everyone was talking only about it, and now only about the virus. Well, a little bit about the affected industries. It was a very strange coincidence…
I don’t want to write in detail about the FED (I will give a link to one of the many articles on this topic, who understands this topic – will understand and draw conclusions).
But in human terms, there is a serious economic crisis. Like in 2008, but worse.
Russia, it seems to me, will suffer from a rebound of the global crisis, but no one has ever been able to harm us more than we ourselves.
Therefore, I think that a lot depends on the determination and smart actions of the government.
Hypothetically, we didn’t blow too many “bubbles”. Not because they are so smart, but because we were not allowed to go to serious market on a global scale.
And, oddly enough, the sanctions do soften the situation for us a little, or rather they have smeared it in time, as it seems to me.
We have been in a sluggish crisis for a long time.
In addition, we had 20 years of constant training, whatever it was.
Business doesn’t just work, but, as on hot coals, it also jumps, and looks during the jump if is it something flying above, and at the same time looks around the corner.
So we’ll break through. Where to? I don’t know.
But in my opinion, there is one stable rule in all crises. And I like it, to be honest. Like the law of conservation of energy.
If someone has lost, then someone has gained. Nothing disappears anywhere. I’m talking about the real economy.
Those who think that they will pass, because many times they got out of it – they will probably be replaced by hungry, creative, smart, intuitive, active, etc.
So I wish everyone not to yawn, listen to yourself, change your thinking, do not waste time on searching for the guilty ones.
And catch the flow to become the one who arrived.
Well, I’m more about business, of course.
Who is not burdened with this exciting business, jumping with obstacles on a long distance, simple security measures in a crisis. As usual.
But for everyone, it is definitely not to allow fear. Fear makes a person stupid and leads to mistakes or inaction.
And to end on a positive note – “in muddy water you can catch a big fish.”
All courage!
P. s: feel free to text me if the topic is interesting, and I will record a video – how to focus on core business, and what can be cut off in a crisis.
